Unfortunately, the AirPort Extreme Intermittent power off is a known issue that has been with us since the product was introduced in June We do continue to see posts about this issue To be fair though, we only see problems here on the forum Hundreds of thousands of the AirPort router products have been sold, so if there really were a major issue or flaw with either the AirPort Extreme or Time Capsule, the forums would be flooded with users with problems.
That is not the case at all. Apple Support might ask you to change a setting or two, or reset the device back its original factory default settings and then set it up again.
You'll just have to go along with Apple Support and try to do what they ask.
